Youth and Children’s Ministry
CHILDREN AGE BIRTH – 6: Our beautiful nursery is staffed by professional caregivers and full of fun toys and good friends. Childcare is available from 9:30–11:30 a.m. every Sunday.
GRADES K – 5: Following the Time for Children, children grades K – 5 are invited to go upstairs for a morning of engaging, meaningful learning!
GRADES 6 – 8: “Lifeboats” meets every first and third Sunday from 11:30 to 12:30 in the Youth Room as they build community and dive in to things important to their faith lives.
GRADES 9 - 12: “Compass” meets on first and third Sunday at 6:30 PM to explore what’s going on in our lives and the world through the eyes of faith.

Join Us for Lunch!
Every Wednesday from 11:45 to 1 p.m., Central welcomes our neighbors from all walks of life for a made-from-scratch lunch every, prepared by Chef Barb Westman and her team.
Our Wednesday lunches are special for two reasons. First, the food is genuinely great (read the Pioneer Press article below!). And second, everybody eats, regardless of their ability to contribute financially. If it’s not in the cards this week, you’re absolutely welcome. If you’re in a position to “pay it forward” for somebody else, we thank you.
In a world in which we’re often divided by social and economic situations, you can come to a place where those barriers are broken down on Wednesdays from 11:45 to 1 here at 500 Cedar Street. Come on in.

Lunch is served each Wednesday from 11:45 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and is open to everyone. There is a suggested donation of $10 and all who are hungry are invited to eat, regardless of their ability to donate.
We accept credit card donations and offer takeout meals. Simply ask for to-go containers as you enter the line. Love the breads? Most weeks there are extra loaves for a $5 donation- but get there early, they go fast!
